Inquiry

This week for Inquiry we were presenting our skit,Movie,animation and poster. My group had to split up to each of these. My partner and I did Movie but sadly we could not present the movie because it was not finished. The first thing we had to was to present our poster. Our poster was about spiritual. The partner's had to explain what spiritual means. After that it was the  animation the animation was about social wellbeing. Lastly it was the skit. The skit was about emotion/mental.

Duffy Assembly

This week we had a special assembly because someone special was coming. And that was robert rakete also known as the brown wiggle from wiggles. We also had a special named olly from mainfreight. Robert had speech about reading and his favourite book to read called asterix.We also sang the song I'm a duffy kid. Then Mr j had a speech after that we sang the national anthem. 

Kiwi Can

LI:To recap everything we did in Kiwi Can.

Our big theme was Positive Relationship's.

Our three modules were  

- Positive communications.

-Friendship

 -Cooperation.                                        

We made three group's Each group talked about the 5'w's & H for 1 module.

After we talked as a group,each group shared their ideas back to the class.

The one thing I enjoyed at Kiwi Can was learning to play new game's the kiwi can leader taught us.

The one thing I learnt was about Positive communication was that we can communicate with body language and with our action's.

the one thing I really need to be better at is Teamwork.

This week for reading we were learning about another artifact and each artifact has a story about a soldier or a nurse. My artifact contains a story about a soldier named John Henry Allen Bullard. We had to first read a story about him. To find his service number we had to search his name on a cenotaph. On the cenotaph it show's his service number. Also His last known rank. To find out more where he grew look at my infographic.

This week for commenting I commented on chris's blog about his hauora Spiritual,Social,Physical and Metal/Emotion.

Music

This week for music we were learning how to play the song shotgun it was very easy playing the song because I knew where the bars were. As a group we played together and we kind of messed up but we kept practising till we were good then we would do it and I was learning how to play shotgun on a xylophone.

Kiwi Sport

This week for kiwi sport we were playing Ki o Rahi with Mr O. But first off we played a game so that we can get warmed up after that we got straight into it as we were playing I learnt new strategies to play Ki O Rahi. Me and andrew had a great plan to get them tricked we would keep passing it to each other and touching the pou we just keep touching the pou till we get heaps of points then we run in and TRY.

Writing

LI- To write an imaginative recount

This week for writing we were learning to write an  Imaginative Recount on google slides we also had to make up details about the story we were learning about. The story was little red riding hood. we also had to listen to the story on youtube so that we know what the story is about. We used Tree for our plan then we had to come up new kinds of titles and Reveal,Events and Ending.

We made a infographic telling you where he grew up and when he enlisted.

Inquiry

.L.I.To learn what hauora Is.
This week for Inquiry we were learning to make the four dimension of hauora. The thing we used for our four dimension was a aeroplane the things were wings,engine and wheels. I had to write what spiritual means and the teachings of your religion and relationship with other people.

Kiwi Can

.L.I. To build positive Relationships 

Today in Kiwi Can we were learning about friendship.We learnt that there are times we can No! we talked about situations were it is okay to say No! we discussed different  way to say No that don't cause disrespect. We did activity called empathy role play. A group acted out a situation and as a class we needed to decide the  way to No:Our options were,

-No Thanks.

-Lets do something else instead. 

-It's just not my thing.

-That's not a nice thing to do.    

Maths

This week for maths we were learning how to clean our Data that we collected from room five.To see if there was any double ups .We also had to conduct our survey to Mr O's Maths and collect their data and clean it we also did.The other groups who were also conducting there survey.
