This week for kiwi can we were learning about integrity and honesty. We played a energizer called bang this game was related to honesty because we had to be honest if we were out.After that we played activity called sculpting Miss mack would would give us a situation and we had to sculpt our partner into the feeling of the person in the situation.         

Patupaiarehe/Maori Mythology

.L.I. To learn about patupaiarehe fairies and the geography of Aotearoa.

Patupaiarehe are fairies that live in shadows in deep forests and mountains.They have magic powers like strength and can make magic ropes.The patupaiarehe we learnt about today live on mountains.

We learnt about patupaiarehe faires and mountains by listening to the story of Ihenga and searching for information, and using google maps.

This week for maori we were learning about patupaiarehe. A patupaiarehe is a fairy with pale skin they live in deep forests in the shadows. On my google docs it shows what a patupaiarehe looks like and what there weakness is. whaea odi told us a story about a patupaiarehe tribe and another patupaiarehe tribe fight. We also had to look at where they were fighting.

LI. To define what honesty is.
This week for kiwi can we were learning about integrity and honesty. Integrity is doing something good and right. Honesty is when your telling the truth not a false or a lie. Our, energizer was related to honesty. Because we had to do actions about 3 sports they were boxing,Karate and Basketball. One of the kiwi can leaders had to close their eyes for three seconds and, if she opens her eyes and we are doing the same actions as her we are out. After that we had a talk about what honesty is and what happens when you don't use it. After that we played a activity the activity was a role play. Each group had a situation where they'd have to be encouraged to be honest and tell the truth in there situation.     

Reading

 

This week for reading we had to look for important words to put in our google slides about a play. We had to choose four lines from the play and we had to put in a expression in a box to show how the character is talking.

Maori

.L.I. To learn about the Legend of Mt Maunganui.
This week for maori we learnt about mount maunganui with Whaea Odi. First  Whaea Odi read us a book about mount maunganui and where it was dragged we had to go on google maps to see where it was dragged. We also made a google docs about about maori words so that we know them when Whaea odi asks us a question in maori.

Sailing

.L.I. To learn how to sail.

This week we went to okahu bay to have a sail. we had three instructors there names were Jr,Steve and Justin. First off justin showed us how to put all the parts together we watched carefully just in case we messed something. After we put all the parts together we had to find a boat that we could use to sail. Then we had to take the boat down to shore and we had to get into boat then justin pushed us out to sea and then we had to follow Jr around we also had to do the titanic challenge. Then we had to go back so that we could have lunch. After lunch  justin challenged us to get Plastic balls,Ducks and Water guns. after sailing we had thanked Justin,Jr,Steve for teaching us to sail.
