Day Of The Week In Maori
This week for maori we were learning about the day of the week in maori. There were maori words and traditional maori words.We had to put in the right words in the right column.We could not use the dictionary because it would not give us the words we wanted. The thing I learnt from this activity was the days. We also had to had to do the months of the year in maori.

This week for maori we were learning about times about clocks in maori. We had to use a maori translation to help us with this activity.We used the clock generator to help us.Doing these activities will help me with my maori speaking and how to read time in maori.

This week for maori we were learning about maori words. We had to try and find out the meaning of the words and the macrons.Whaea odi shared us a google doc of words. The thing I used to help me was the maori dictionary.

This week for maori we had to go around and ask people where they were from. I had to ask people from my group and other groups. While I was doing this I also had to answer these other questions. I had to write down where my parents were from.

This week for maori My group and I had a task. In this task we had to translate some countries and islands around the world.We had to google and research the translation of each country in this list it was very hard looking for these words because we couldn't find much. The thing I learnt from this activity was the countries in maori and how they were spelt and pronounced.

This week for maori we were learning about the things we liked we used a phrase to show what we liked we made a Dlo showing what we liked. The things I showed were just games because I like games that are entertain me. We also had to find out the meaning of the phrase we used. The phrase we used was He Pai Ki Ahau.

LI. To learn Weathers in maori.
This week for maori we were learning about stars and the weathers in maori we had to create a DLO showing english and maori ways of saying the weathers. We also had to add in pictures showing what the weather's were. We also read a book about a star warning a girl about the lambs she went and told her father and mother. And took the lambs to a shed to keep them warm.

Patupaiarehe/Maori Mythology
.L.I. To learn about patupaiarehe fairies and the geography of Aotearoa.
Patupaiarehe are fairies that live in shadows in deep forests and mountains.They have magic powers like strength and can make magic ropes.The patupaiarehe we learnt about today live on mountains.
We learnt about patupaiarehe faires and mountains by listening to the story of Ihenga and searching for information, and using google maps.

On my google docs it shows what a patupaiarehe looks like and what there weakness is. whaea odi told us a story about a patupaiarehe tribe and another patupaiarehe tribe fight. We also had to look at where they were fighting.

This week for maori we learnt about mount maunganui with Whaea Odi. First Whaea Odi read us a book about mount maunganui and where it was dragged we had to go on google maps to see where it was dragged. We also made a google docs about about maori words so that we know them when Whaea odi asks us a question in maori.
