Maths

 This week for maths we were learning about decimals and fractions, we were separated into four groups we were given different task but related to the same division my groups task was to find out what the problems would look like physically, we used all sorts of things that was in our reach it was fun doing this problem as it was fun and interesting me and my group thought we couldn't do this unless we tried, we tried and got most of it done. After a few moments we needed to share what we got each of my group members shared what they have done to solve the problem.

What I learnt from this task is that you can use multiple ways to find the answer and solve the problem using physical things I also had fun doing this because it shows how people learn and how they show what they learnt.

Maths/Ordering Numbers

This week for maths we were learning about ordering numbers and greater than and less than.We had played a game that would help us with our maths in this session of learning.

Maths

This week for maths My group and I were finding out the plane distance average. By doing that we had to throw the plane ten times. After that we had to add all the measurements of a calculator then divide it by ten after we have our answer.After we had our measurements we had to make a graph to show the plane distance.

Maths/Planes

   

This week for maths we had to measure our planes wingspan so that we could predict how far it would go.Each person in our group had to fold 7 planes then measure it.We had to make a spreadsheet to record our data on the plane.

Maths/Research

LI: To research. This week for maths we were researching the meaning and function of twenty one words to make a prediction of what we will be studying over the next couple of weeks. We worked in three groups. In my group there were Farzana and Sulia. Our prediction was that we were going to study planes but we are actually going to study planes and aerodynamic using paper planes.

This week I was doing basic fact boxes.I took on The speed demon challenge.

Maths/WIP

This week we were learning about proportions. We made a google slides about proportion facts.We had to show you guys facts about these proportions.We had to make questions that are sometimes hard and easy. We mostly made questions about proportions and other subjects.   

Maths/Ratio Problems

LI: to identify and simplify ratios

This week for maths we were learning about ratio problems. A ratio is comparing things.We learnt this by using tomatoes and olives and pizzas . We had to solve this ratio comparing them. there were 8 slices of tomatoes and 6 olives to pizzas so then the answer is 8:6:1/8 to 6 to 1. We made a ratio problem quiz we used emojis to help my group with this quiz.

Maths/ Identifying Decimals

LI: to identify and count tenths, hundredths, and thousandths. This week for maths we were learning about decimals we made a google slide about decimals. We first had to look at our number then words we had to write what the decimals are in words then we had to type in the fraction of the decimal.Then we had to write in the number before and the number after. Lastly we had to color in boxes in the image.

This week for maths we were learning how to clean our Data that we collected from room five.To see if there was any double ups .We also had to conduct our survey to Mr O's Maths and collect their data and clean it we also did.The other groups who were also conducting there survey.

Maths

This week for maths were learning what statistics. We were using things from our school. The things we used was where is the most popular place to sit and rest. We made a google draw so that we could zone the places where the most people like to sit rest and after that we made a google forms so that people could vote where they'd sit and rest.
