This week for writing we were learning about plastic waste and Love your coast program this program helps clean the coastlines around New Zealand. We also made a google doc about what happens if we don't clean around New Zealand.

This week for writing we had to make a new character our new character was madam zoozoo,We also had to make a hook . She was part of the background story of why the natural disasters are happening to the futuristic Los Angeles.Madam Zoozoo is the only person who knows who can stop these disaster's.

Each group had to make a character then we had to vote what female and character.We had to make a Character setting in these settings show what they're weaknesses are and what they their personalities are. I also included information about them.

This week for writing we were learning about telling sentence and show. My group and I had to write a simple telling sentence. Before we did that we had to choose a setting for the background of the story,We chose a Island and the background story was us people in my group being on a stranded Island. After we wrote our telling sentence we had to make a show. The show was a improved version of the telling sentence.We had to explain to the people reading show how it would actually feel,The story had to be negative and not positive.

This week for writing we were learning how to make a proper recount. Mr O wrote down things that related to writing a recount. He also showed us how to mark our own writing. While we were writing we had to use punctuation in the right places.Mr O told us to list 5 words that we think are important.After that we had to give our writing to another person to rate our writing. 

Advertisement/Writing

This week for writing we were learning how analyze a ad.I chose this ad because I am into basketball and I like video games. We had to answer five questions on this google slides. I thought about these questions and think how'd people would react to this game if it showed up. So I wrote down why they would buy it. They would buy the game because they are going to feel like they are at a live basketball game.

This week we were learning about slogans. We had to create three slogans about our school. We also  had to list somethings that people use to make there product look good once it is on tv.We watched some videos so we can get some ideas on how they use these item.On the video it also compared advertised product versus reality.

LI. To write a narrative in the form of a play.

 This is week for writing we were writing our orientation of our play. On our google docs it shows our Play. We had to add in a narrator part because then the people wouldn't understand if it was going straight to the next scene. We also had to make sure that our plays included all characters in the play. We also had to add something in the end of the story.

This week for writing we are planning a orientation of a play. We had to make lines for characters in role play. We have five characters that have different personalities and one day someone or something comes and steals jewelry. And these five friends help each other to find the jewelry but one of the friends tells information about them to the thief.We have not done our lines we are still working on it.

LI- To write an imaginative recount

This week for writing we were learning to write an  Imaginative Recount on google slides we also had to make up details about the story we were learning about. The story was little red riding hood. we also had to listen to the story on youtube so that we know what the story is about. We used Tree for our plan then we had to come up new kinds of titles and Reveal,Events and Ending.

German Shepherd dogs are usually black, brown or a mixture of both.They are good at listening, are smart, and they can be trained to work as police dogs.

German Shepherd dogs live in many parts of the world.

German Shepherd are carnivores. Adult dogs can eat 40 pounds of dog dry food per month. These dogs need to eat a lot of food. Owners must watch how much food they feed their dogs and their food must be nutritious to keep them healthy.

How to make soup for a giant

This is how to make yummy soup for a giant.

Ingredients:

4 potatoes            1 whole chicken    egg

2 litres of water    1 onion                  tomatoes

6 carrots              pinch of salt

1 cabbage            eggplant

1 bundle               butter

Method:

1.Peel the potatoes,onion,and,carrots.

2.Chop potatoes, onion, carrots, tomatoes, and eggplant into small pieces.

3.Wash the cabbage and silver beet.Then cut finely.

4.Pour water in a pot.Put all the vegetables and chicken in and cook for 30 min.

5.Serve this soup to the giant  in a large bowl.
