Venn Diagram

This week for inquiry we were learning about Kupe Vs James Cook, We made venn diagram to compare the things that were different and in the middle of the venn diagram we had to compare the things that they do that were the same. Doing this activity helped because I learnt more than ever it also said that they both treat they're men well.

On friday was a special day because we had special guests coming. The Guest were from the Blogging company. The people told what they have been up to in the holidays. The were commenting on our blog post on our activities we posted.Doing the summer learning journey help you get better at learning new things and keeps your brain working and when it's school time.

Kiwi Can

This week for kiwi can we were learning about positive relationships.We played a role playing game that tells what not using empathy and using empathy is like. My group had to do the negative part of empathy. we did a couple of practices then we had to do it as we were doing I could tell why we were not using empathy. For this acting we needed to come up with what were gonna be doing. Everyone did showing empathy or not showing empathy.

Summary/ TOW Collaborate

This week for kiwi can we were learning about the treaty of waitangi we used 6 important words to sum up a sentence about these words we had to highlight these words. We also had to make a art we outlined some of the pictures to suit our words.

Summary/Age of exploration

this week for inquiry we were learning about the pioneers and the explorers like James Cook,Kupe and the age of explorations.We made made a summary about the age of exploration, We chose 6 important words to make sentence  out of 25 words.

We watched a video as a class it was about the age of explorations. It showed different types places these people went to. These brave people who went to explore around the world had conflict with the weak tribes. They also had a disease called scurvy this disease was spreaded out to the poor tribes. 

Writing/Plastic Pollution

This week for writing we were learning about plastic waste and Love your coast program this program helps clean the coastlines around New Zealand. We also made a google doc about what happens if we don't clean around New Zealand.

This week for maths we were learning about ordering numbers and greater than and less than.We had played a game that would help us with our maths in this session of learning.
