MOTAT

This week LS1 went to MOTAT. We we were learning about STEAM.
STEAM means  science technology engineering arts mathematics. We got to go look around motat. We saw very old tractors a tank,Motor bikes and cars. Then we went into this pump house where they pump water it showed how it worked. Then we went to the tram. We took a ride in the tram to the aviation which held civilian planes and military Planes we also saw nuclear bombs and a Mark 15 torpedo.After we explored we came back to mind lab at mind lab we learnt how to use negative and positive wires to make a propeller to work.

Topic - Emotions. Emotions are feelings you use to show people how you feel.

Activity - Silent Emotions disco. In this activity we had to show our emotions to the other groups. First me and my group had to think of a emotion to show to the other groups but we could not make any noises they had to guess what emotion we were doing.  

Writing

LI. To write a narrative in the form of a play.

 This is week for writing we were writing our orientation of our play. On our google docs it shows our Play. We had to add in a narrator part because then the people wouldn't understand if it was going straight to the next scene. We also had to make sure that our plays included all characters in the play. We also had to add something in the end of the story.   

Planets in Tongan

This week for inquiry we were learning about our planets in our solar system. We had to create a google slide we had to translate the english to tongan because that's the language we chose. We made a google slide and the planets were in the same order. We had to find out some facts and put into the google slide after that we had to make a screencastify then show our teacher. 

Constellation/Reading

LI. to use skimming, scanning and summarising.
This week for reading we had to choose a constellation. A constellation stars that make up something that the greeks found. Me and my partner had to choose a constellation our constellation was called cygnus. Cygnus means a swan that's why the greek people named it cygnus. Cygnus has a bright star named deneb. We had to make our constellation out of marshmallows and sticks.   

Maori

LI. To State Our likes
This week for maori we were learning about the things we liked we used a phrase to show what we liked we made a Dlo showing what we liked. The things I showed were just games because I like games that are entertain me. We also had to find out the meaning of the phrase we used. The phrase we used was He Pai Ki Ahau.

SSR Selfie

This week we had to finish our ssr selfie because it was our last week of school on my one it shows a book about a boy that was timed travel and his grandson roger blake gives the missing piece to time travel back to where he was.

LI. To Recap learning from the term.

This week at Kiwi Can was our last day we had to recap all of our learning this term. Our learning was honesty,Integrity,Reliability and responsibility.We had a talk about These and what they mean. After having a talk we went and played some games outside we played two games called octopus and go home and stay home.
