LI: to summarise and retell a text

This week I was doing SSR Selfie The book I was reading was The recruit I had to read the book for fifthteen minutes and I had to answer some questions about my book. 

Poetry

This week for inquiry we had to write a poem about a Limerick,Cinquain,Haiku and a diamante. We also had time from yesterday to write it and today because we had to perform our poem to the rest of the groups. I did not get to perform because I had not finished my poem about feelings   because I wasn't fast enough so that meant I had to apologize to the class because I had not finished my poem about a Limerick.

Music

This week for music were learning how to play the song shotgun on a xylophone we had to be in partners so that if I play the chord C they'd have to play C as well.We had practices so we knew how to play the song after a few practices I had to watch my partner play to see if he missed a chord after that we as a group we played together after that we played one call away. 

Maths

This week for maths were learning what statistics. We were using things from our school. The things we used was where is the most popular place to sit and rest. We made a google draw so that we could zone the places where the most people like to sit rest and after that we made a google forms so that people could vote where they'd sit and rest.   

Kiwi Can

This week for kiwi can we were learning about positive relationships and friendships. Before we got into our energizer we had a quick catch phrase about friendship. We also learnt about a bad friendship and good friendship.After that we got into our energizer was called last man standing in this game we would two practice rounds and and two real rounds. If Mr Shaun says a person then that means they're the tagger the tagger has a small amount of time to tag as much people as they can. 

Basic fact boxes

LI: to remember basic maths facts.

This Week I have done basic fact boxes I did these to learn my addition and subtraction quicker and faster up to fives.

Art Work

This week we did art.We were learning how to shade in our apples with pastels we used some colors that would fit in with our shaded apple I tried shading the outside with purple so that it can blend in more with the shadow. I added white so that I can make the colors stand out more. 

Inquiry

This Week for Inquiry we were learning about Poetry,Rhythm and Rhyme. Mr W gave my group a a sheet about some poems we had to highlight some of the words that rhyme  and we see if it was a alliteration,Assonance.Consonance and End Rhyme.     

Kiwi Sport

This week for Ki o Rahi was our last session so that meant we could a full game of Ki o Rahi the whole session of Ki o Rahi.First we had to get into teams red and yellow. At the start of the game the kicker had to kick the ball across Te Ara to the kaitiaki. If the Kaitiaki don't catch the ball that means it's handover. So the taniwha have the ball the taniwha have to try and hit the tupu with the ki if the kaitiaki catch the ball that means they can throw it out Kioma in Te Ao. Then Kioma have to try and touch the Pou with the ki and score in pawero. After that the team that won was the red team. 

Kiwi Can

This week for Kiwi Can we were learning about Positive RelationShips and Cooperation.Then we played a energizer that linked with Cooperation.In the energizer we had to unlock passcode so this was like a password so we had to step in a hula hoop if Mister H says ding that means the first three in front of it is right.After that we learnt about negotiate.

Place Value Spreadsheet

 LI: to shift between place values using multiplication. 

This week for maths we made a Place Value grid about Place value we had choose any kind of number then  we had multiply it by Tens,Hundreds,Thousands.

Kiwi Sport

This week for Kiwi Sport were learning about the kioma role.In kioma role there is a kicker that has to kick the ball to the kaitiaki. If the kaitiaki don't catch the ball then that means its taniwhas ball if the goes out to te ao then that means its taniwhas ball.

Inquiry

This week for Inquiry we were learning about what a good and bad team work we made a T chart about what would a good team would do we wrote 10 things on the good side of the T chart.On the other side of the T chart is the bad things a team would do.We also made a body outline of what good thing a good team do and what bad thing would do.Next we also made padlet who we can have a relationship with and another padlet but I forgot what we had to do on the other padlet.

Kiwi Can

.L.I. To learn about the word Praise.

This week for Kiwi Can we were learning about Positive Relationships,Positive Communication and Praise the word Praise means to encourage people to be proud of themselves The energizer we played was called R,P,S, tag.In this game we had to partner up with someone then we had to play rock paper scissors who ever won had to run once there had to touch the ground turn around then we they have to try and chase us if they give up they can vs you again or go find another partner.After that we went straight on to our activity.Our activity was called kick ball. In this there was two teams, One attacking team and one defending team. The attacking team to kick the ball and then run to the cones a back to get a home run. The defending had to tag with the ball but, If you kick the ball and catch it you would be out.       

Music

.L.I.To learn how to play the ukulele.

This week for music we were learning the chords of a xylophone and a ukulele the chords we learnt was C,G,A,F we also had to do the same chords on the xylophone the song we used to play the chords was One Call Away.The kids were not here last so then they had to the chords of the ukulele.

This week for cyber smart we were learning how to make a blog post.The example we used to make was our School CARE values Confidants,Respect,Attitude and Excellence and Innovation.We had to explain what are they and How did we Invent them which are based on the Three Ps.The three Ps are Protection,Partnership and participation.
